Erika saw the trend that is microblading a year before it hit the states. Seeing the coming trend she began to research the best method and education available here in the US. Having a background in skin care she was looking for a method that was in line with her belief that preserving the skin long term is a necessity and sacrificing the health of the skin was not an option. After doing months of research she picked Brow Design International by Julia Anne Milin. Julia Anne Milin & Brow Design was featured on ABC Good Morning America and in Marie Claire as the NYC Brow Guru. Erika's perfectionist nature fit right in to the Brow Design method and she began to excel, so much to the point that she was invited to become a trainer for them. For the last 5+ years she has not only had the opportunity to express herself through the art of microblading but also had the pleasure of teaching other beauty professionals this same beautiful technique. In fact, many are shocked to find her biggest competition were at one time her students. Having mastered color theory and microblading she has also branched out to other forms of permanent make-up as well as para medical and scalp micro-pigmentation. Being a trainer for BDI has helped her with opportunity to train with many global masters in techniques such as fusion brows, powder brows, lips, eye liner and lash enhancement. She is constantly perfecting her craft and now is able to bring those skill sets to The Microblading Studio of Southlake.
With the sky rocketing need for Brow, Tattoo, and Permanent Makeup Correction, Erika felt the need to learn removal and Correction work. She first trained with Linda Paradis Tattoo Remoov in early 2017 and then other removal methods but then still felt the need for a more intensive aftercare. After much research and patiently waiting, she found TatXtract who's Medical Director Dr. Johnson applied a holistic approach using a patent-pending method that dramatically reduces the chances of scaring. He has created multiple patents, one of which is Zinc Finger Technology that is clinically proven to repair DNA and accelerate wound healing by 33%. Also the patented Trioxolane to improve skin conditions including allergic reactions to ink. After training and being thoroughly impressed with the company, results, and aftercare for skin, she then joined forces with TatXtract/Xtract Ink and has the privilege to of training artists as well as ones in the medical field throughout the United States as well as Internationally. This has enabled Erika to be able to help not only those in need of Permanent Makeup Correction, but also aiding in removing barcodes from victims and survivors of sex trafficking. Her love for people and passion for the beauty industry drives her to be the best artist possible, always looking to enhance the natural beauty each person possesses.
